6-Pairs-Studs is played by splitting a shuffled deck into two groups, top and bottom, with each group containing 26 cards dealt face down. There are two rows of empty place holders for card placement when cards are selected from each group. Each row has six place holders that are laid out on screen between the top and bottom groups of cards dealt face down.
To begin, the player gets to buy a game ticket using virtual coins (VC) available in the player’s account, the values of the virtual coins are 3, 5 and 8 bits. The player then chooses any six cards from the top and bottom groups of cards each. After choosing the 12 cards, the player then flips over cards and the pairs counted. If there are four, five or six matching number pairs (suit does not matter), the player wins.
A valid pair must have one matching card from each row. If the player gets all six pairs, he wins with a 2.0 odds, if he gets 5 pairs he wins at a 1.75 odds, if he get 4 pairs, he wins at a 1.25 odds. If the cards don't match after one attempt, the player loses his virtual wager.
The player can purchase as many virtual game tickets with his virtual coins to continue playing. Virtual winnings are added to the player’s virtual account which helps to establish his Leader Board ranking.
